Queen Elizabeth National park is a home of the legendary tree climbing lions of Ishasha.
Lake Mburo National Park has a beautiful land scape with grassy hills, an idyllic lake shore, forest galleries of which most of the trees are acacia savanna. The place also has seasonal and permanent swamps which are home to about 310 bird species that have been recorded and 65 mammal species that dwell in these grasslands.
You will be met on arrival by your our driver guide who will warmly receive and welcome you and will transfer you to your accommodation.
Today, your driver/guide will take you to Queen Elizabeth National Park –One of Uganda’s most beautiful national parks. En route you can stopover at the Uganda Equator for photos and souvenir. With lunch en route, enjoy as a scenic drive as you pass through rolling hills and plantations.
You will have an early morning game drive on the Kasenyi plains with chances of seeing the cats in action. Besides the cats, you are likely to spot antelopes, elephants, buffalos, plenty of warthogs and various bird species. Later on in the day, you will go for a boat ride on the famous Kazinga channel which connects two lakes George and Edward. On the boat ride, your will see unbelievable numbers of hippos. The channel has the highest concentration of hippos in Africa. There is also an abundant bird life and many African elephants taking a swim or quenching their thirst.
You will transfer to Lake Mburo National park. It’s the only national park in Uganda where you can have a safari on foot. There has been an addition of tallest savanna animal (the giraffe) added to its endemic impalas. You will have a game drive as you enter the park.
You will walk up early and have a guided safari walk with a ranger, return to the lodge for breakfast before you return to Entebbe International Airport for your onward flight back home.
