Your driver guide will pick you up early from your accommodation in Entebbe and head north to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for white rhino tracking. Founded in 1998, Rhino Fund Uganda works to reintroduce black and white rhinos into Uganda. They run a breeding program, as well as working to educate communities on these endangered giants, the problem of poaching and the need for environmental conservation. In the Rhino Sanctuary you will have a safari-hike to the rhinos which will give you the opportunity to view them at close range. After having lunch, continue to Uganda's largest national park, Visit the top of the falls and later relax in the afternoon.

After an early morning breakfast, you will set out for an early morning game drive while the animals are the most active. In the early morning hours animals are the most active, the sun is not yet so bright and temperatures are cooler. A drive through the park up close with the African animal kingdom: You are likely to spot elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, leopards, different species of antelope and a variety of tropical birds. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a boat safari to the bottom of Murchison Falls. You are likely to see Nile crocodiles, hundreds of hippos, buffaloes, water birds and a variety of animals that come to the drink water at the banks of the river Nile.

After an early breakfast we depart to Kibale Forest National Park, It’s a beautiful ride on the countryside as you pass through rolling hills and plantations. You will have lunch en route as you approach Fort Portal town which rests in the shadow of the mountains of the moon.

Today you will spend the morning tracking the exuberant chimp families in the Kibale forest. Tracking chimpanzees in their natural habitat, as they swing from the branches in the canopy high above the forest floor, is a thrilling experience. Though they can be difficult to spot, you will be in no doubt of their presence as the forest is alive with their noisy calls. In the afternoon, explore the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary. The reserve is abundant with butterflies, plants, animals and, in particular, birds. Spectacular birds like Great Blue Turaco and rare Papyrus Gonolek will be of great interest to birders. The swamp is also home to more elusive animals such as Red Colobus monkeys and Sitatunga antelope.

Today, your driver/guide will take you to Queen Elizabeth National Park – Uganda’s second largest national park. You will enjoy journey as you pass through scenic crater lakes. In the afternoon, you will have a game drive for your first introduction to the hidden gems in the park.

Day 7: Game Drive in queen Elizabeth National Park.<br /> After an early morning cup of tea, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park 135km about 2 – 3 hours’ drive to catch up with a game drive along Kasenyi track and Queen’s Mile in the park. In sight you have possibilities of encountering gigantic elephants, lions, buffalos, warthogs and antelopes. return to the lodge for lunch, after which you enjoy the two hours launch cruise on Kazinga Channel and have an amazing variety of birds and wildlife that majorly include; hippos, crocodiles and the wild game drinking on the channel side like elephants, water backs, buffaloes just to mention but a few. From the boat, do another game drive along the channel track in search of more game as head back to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, you will head to the Southern part of the park, the Ishasha sector famous for its tree climbing lions. You will have a game drive as you look out for the kings of the jungle resting in the trees. You are likely to see other animals like the elephants, Buffaloes, antelopes and a variety of bird species.

You will walk up early and have a guided safari walk with a ranger, return to the lodge for breakfast before you embark on your journey back to the capital city named after Impala. Later in the evening, you will have an opportunity to visit the Ndere center for a first introduction to the most popular cultural dances in the pearl of Africa. (Note that the Ndere center cultural performances is an optional activity excluded from the price. It takes place on Wednesday, Friday & Sunday).

After a calm breakfast we depart the beautiful lake and transfer to Lake Mburo National park. It’s the only national park in Uganda where you can have a safari on foot. There has been an addition of tallest savanna animal (the giraffe) added to its endemic impalas. You will have a game drive as you enter the park.

After breakfast we depart to Lake Bunyonyi, the second deepest lake in Africa. Relax, take a swim or go for a canoe trip while you watch the beautiful sunset.

You will set out early to be in time for the first boat that leaves for the islands which is the home of 39 chimpanzees at around 9 am. Enjoy the waters of the second largest fresh water lake in the world. You will reach in time for activities like feeding the chimps and if you are got the vaccinations you might be allowed to follow the team for a forest walk with the chimpanzees. Enjoy the views of the chimps at the sanctuary from the visitor plat form. After this experience of watching them eat and play, you will return to be dropped at the Entebbe international airport for your outbound flight and it will be your time to say goodbye to the Pearl of Africa!
